elemental, raw
plundering the senses
rendering me speechless
a pause, a rapid thrust
invisible tension of muscle, sinew
bones dropping away
activating flight
soaring heavenward bearing
the Treasure
that lay hidden in depths of murky waters
the revelation whispered to
  ravenous soul
