Sophia's form

each letter in "Times" formation
black, crisp, sharp-edged
falling through the space
of the void
landed in disarray upon a formless shore
shifting, rearranging
now and then
in wordless meaningless content
hard as stone
of random shapes and sizes

thus they did remain until
the Advent of a small and naked child
whose eyes like pools of sky blue 
danced full with knowing
from ancient ones beyond the curtain
at her touch sharp edges softened and merged
against the comforting spines and whorls
of kindred shapes

the child formed all the letters
into playmates
trading places shifting spaces
one by one they rearranged themselves
into a bridge
arching from the warm sands of familiar shore
into distant fleecy clouds

the child with cloudless eyes
built a small fire upon the beach
and there she offered Words
she had been forming
to thank the Wisdom for returning
Now
across the bridge
embodying a Path through time and space
formless, silent,
spacious
