Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice

we are slowing
slowing
entering the darkest
of nights
of seasons
as unto death

we pause,
all loving souls,
waiting

on the morrow
beginning
our joyous ascent
into the Light

Oh I love that Phyllis. It describes the time of year and the feeling of the solstice exactly. "Slowing, slowing" not necessarily a bad thing is it? Thank you.

Thank you, Susan. For me this time of slowing is really precious. Like a reset button, quiet before resuming activity. Glad you liked the idea 😊
