I pledge allegiance to my family
and to you and your family
and to all individuals and families across the globe;
and to all of life – plants and animals on the land and in the waters and in the skies,
and to the oceans and rivers, the rocks and shorelines, the mountains and plains;
and to the planet on which we live,
one home, supporting our one family, human and non-human
in our diversity and magnificence,
one creation under God,
with respect and equality and compassion and love
for all.

     Early voting has begun. It’s time to let our voices show the nation and the world what’s in our hearts. It’s time to rise above our petty disagreements, our hates, our favoritism. Our anger and fear is front and center right now. But that cannot control our vote. We are better than that!

     Don’t vote out of fear of what might happen if the other side wins. Don’t vote out of anger or desire to get even or to punish anybody. Don’t vote with an attitude of “I’ll show them!” Don’t vote party above principles. Have an honest reckoning with yourself and vote for the very best human being!

    Think of the finest, most loving, smartest, least biased person you know. Maybe that’s a parent or grandparent, a teacher or spiritual leader, spouse or best friend or neighbor. What would you expect of them? What principles would they espouse, what platform would they put forth? Vote for those ideals and principles. Vote as if you are the candidate who is running. Vote for you expressing your highest ideals. If you were running, how would you want to be remembered? What would make for the best life for everyone and alleviate the suffering of all? Vote for the kind of world, the kind of future, that you want for your children and grandchildren and generations to come. Plumb yourself to your deepest depths. Listen to your conscience. Sit quietly. Think long and hard. Let your heart lead. Vote with all of the goodness that you are!  Vote love! Vote love! Vote love!

I really like your Pledge of Allegiance--it's so much better than the original. And much needed!

Thank you, Chuck. What would your Pledge say. I imagine it would be similar.

Amazing Phyllis. Again, you've written what's in my heart, but not always my head, and reminded me of "the highest and best good," a phrase that I learned from both you and Candy. Both the Pledge of Allegiance and your narrative after help with centering practices and alleviate what for me is an ever-present anxiety on or below the surface. Thank you.

Thanks for your reflections, Sue. I think we’re all feeling that anxiety that you mention. I am reminded of Ram Dass saying “We’re all just walking each other home.” We get to keep each other safe and sane and loved. Thanks, my friend for making this walk with me!

Phylis, you say:
Today let us celebrate! I have many things I want to say and I will in the days ahead. Most of all I am very grateful to you. Thank you for never giving up. Thank you for making it possible for Love to prevail.
I assume you are refering to JBs victory? Yet, "There are more things in Heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreampt of in your philosophy."
There is another side that is silenced by the manipulated media and of which you do not wish to see or investigate; perhaps you are not aware of the rampant censoring on youtube facebook cnn nbc npr fox etc of ideas that do not conform to the Biblically prophesized globalist new world order--the master puppeteers of 911 and its wars (and most wars before that), the political junk science of co2 fear mongering, race war agitation and perhaps a GMO (according to some genetisists including a nobel prize winner) pandemic. JB is an avowded globalist--he has stated that--just like all the other modern presidents except mr T, Ike, JFK and perhaps Ronnie. So is love prevailing as a monstrous corrupt tyrranny incrementally consumes everyones' freedoms, further destabalising society and making even more unequal the wealth and power distribution abetting the real ruling elites (guised in carbon footprints and inclusive equality)? Does love prevail when a boorish pig is systematically witchhunted and propagandically derided endlessly, even if he truly wants the best for the country and world, which is the opposite intention of the NWO thats seeks nothing less than its destruction to clear the way for its complete takeover? Perhaps. I dont know, but neither do you.
We both err. Peace be with you.

"There is no hope of answer here."

Hi Chris, nice to hear from you. It’s been a long time. I’m happy that you took time to comment on my thoughts. Sorry for such a late reply - I just discovered your comments this morning.
Only Love prevails. It always has and always will. We “see through a glass dimly” and on the surface of things. Love is so much bigger and more than individuals or events that are fleeting and ever changing. Love is always at work and never ending, always the outcome.

True, yes indeed, Love prevails as there is nothing else, now or ever. Seemed like your email timing--and therefore reference--was re the election which of course doesnt have much to do with love, being a big pile of ego.
What do you think of "do not allow your brother to act insanely"? Seems like, while not judging or condemning, it says to not let him do harmful illusions--abuse a child, kill or torture etc--but such a prevention often invokes conflict and war... and the illusion of hierachy which is the seed of the whole mess.... ???

Chris - the world of the ego has a barrage of thoughts, questions, and answers. To which there is only one answer: Love prevails, as there is nothing else.
